This is a ride you do not want to miss!

Empire State Ride Long Island is a perfect, family-friendly charity bike ride. Ride on Saturday, June 13 through the beautiful beaches, North Shore estates and historic destinations in and around the Town of Oyster Bay all while raising funds for cancer patients at Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and driving cutting-edge cancer research at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

What to expect

Choose from one of our four routes with varying distances and start times, each beginning and ending in the historic Village Of Oyster Bay on Long Island. Get ready to fundraise for an amazing cause. every penny supports cancer patients at Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and fuels cutting-edge cancer research at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

When you’re not riding, enjoy live music, vendors, food trucks and more. You will walk away from this event feeling fulfilled and knowing that every pedal brings the world one step closer to ending cancer.

Ways to register

Join as an individual or gather your family and friends and ride as a team! The registration fee is $25. Adults have a $100 fundraising minimum and youth (under 18) have a $50 fundraising minimum. Your $25 registration fee will kick start your fundraising.

Our partner, Man Cave Health, will be providing free prostate cancer screenings (simple blood draw) plus some cool giveaways and surprises at the Oyster Bay Street Fair!

Bikes are available to rent for the day in Oyster Bay. They even come with a helmet to keep you safe.

Enjoy a beautiful bike ride followed by live music from local classic rock ‘n’ roll band, Crisis, food trucks, vendors and an impactful atmosphere. Meet us at check-in at the brick patio across from the gazebo downtown at 1 Shore Avenue, Oyster Bay before your start time.

After your ride through Long Island’s estate country and beaches along the North Shore, finish up with the rocking Oyster Bay Health and Wellness Street Fair!

Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay.

Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center are proud to be in partnership with the Town of Oyster Bay. Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park, a beautiful space at the heart of Oyster Bay, includes waterfront views, a beach, playground and more. After the ride, you can enjoy the snack bar, stroll the shoreline and watch the boats to celebrate your accomplishment.

Parking.

Parking is available in the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) parking lot, just outside the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park gate. Park in the LIRR lot and walk your bike to the start line.
