Volunteers.

Make a difference!

Volunteers are key to the success of Empire State Ride Long Island. We are asking volunteers from nearby communities to assist in a variety of ways on July 22 and leading up to the event.

Whether you check-in riders on Ride Day, hand out water and snacks at rest stops or direct routes, your volunteer role is critical in the success of ESR Long Island.

Rest stops.

Hydration and rest are key to a successful ride. Help keep our riders fueled with thirst-quenching H2O and snacks, and chat with them as they take a quick break off their bike!

Parking and traffic control.

Volunteers are needed to direct traffic and help everyone find parking in the LIRR lot.

Check-in.

Be the face of check-in! Greet riders as they arrive, check them in and hand out welcome packets.

Food service.

What could be better than serving delicious snacks and treats to riders after their journey?

Cheerleading.

If you’re all about team spirit, join us as a cheerleader to pump up riders and give them an extra boost during their ride. Signs, pom-poms and cowbells are welcome!
